Connecting After Loss: An Art Therapy Circle for Women
Grief can feel isolating — but healing doesn’t have to happen alone.
Join this small, supportive group for women who have lost their partner to gently reconnect through art, mindfulness, and shared understanding.
No art experience needed — just a willingness to create.

Why Groups?
When life feels heavy, stressful, or lonely, it helps to know you’re not the only one.
Healing happens in connection.
Whether through conversation, creativity, or reflection, being with others who get it helps us feel less alone—and reminds us that growth doesn’t have to happen in isolation.
Our groups offer safe, supportive spaces to explore emotions, learn new tools, and reconnect with calm and confidence.
Each one is small and guided by experienced therapists who create safety first—so participants can share, learn, and grow at their own pace.
You don’t have to have the right words—or even know what to expect.
You just need to show up as you are. We’ll meet you there.
What Makes Our Groups Unique
Every Valley Art Therapy group is grounded in trauma-informed, body-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
Our therapists integrate approaches such as mindfulness, nervous system education, creative exploration, and somatic (body-based) tools to help participants reconnect with themselves and others.
You’ll find a space where you don’t have to have it all together—just a place to belong and begin.
Each group is unique—some focus on emotional regulation or stress recovery, others on self-care, grief, or parenting—but all share a few things in common:
-
A calm, welcoming environment

-
Connection and understanding in a small, supportive group

-
Practical tools for everyday regulation and emotional health

-
Freedom to engage at your own pace—no pressure to share or perform

-
A more accessible rate than individual therapy

Group sessions make high-quality, therapist-led care more affordable—while still offering the same safety, compassion, and professional guidance our clients know and trust.
Who Our Groups Are For
We offer groups for:
-
Kids & Teens – to build confidence, self-awareness, and emotional regulation

-
Adults – to explore stress, boundaries, grief, and self-compassion

-
Parents & Caregivers – to strengthen connection, co-regulation, and calm at home

Whether you’re a child learning about emotions for the first time or an adult rediscovering your calm, our groups are designed to meet you where you are.
Groups are ideal for anyone wanting to feel more balanced, connected, and supported—whether on their own or alongside individual therapy.

What You Might Experience
Depending on the group, you or your child may:
-
Feel calmer and more grounded in daily life

-
Understand emotions and reactions with more clarity

-
Build confidence and self-compassion

-
Experience community and belonging

-
Leave with simple tools for continued growth and regulation

Participants often tell us they notice small, meaningful shifts—more ease, more connection, and more space to breathe.
It is these subtle changes that often become the foundation for lasting calm, confidence, and connection beyond the group.
