Get to Know Us: Serving Our Rural Communities at the Heart of Valley Art Therapy

At Valley Art Therapy, we believe in the power of community, and this value guides every aspect of our work. We are deeply committed to understanding and meeting the unique needs of our rural communities and their members. Our mission is to remove barriers and increase access to the therapy and support you need, right where you live.

We love rural life and all it has to offer! And we also believe that rural living should never limit access to innovative, quality care. That's why we're dedicated to bringing exceptional mental health services directly to your community.

Expanding Our Reach

At Valley Art Therapy, we're constantly looking for ways to increase accessibility to mental health services across rural Manitoba. We're excited to now offer in-person services in three locations: Birtle, Russell, and our newest addition, Swan River. By establishing a presence in these communities, we're reducing the burden of long-distance travel for rural residents. This expansion allows us to provide the vital support you need, closer to home. Our goal is to ensure that quality mental health care is within reach for everyone, regardless of where they live.

The Power of Collaboration

Collaboration is a cornerstone of our Valley Art Therapy community. We love developing community partnerships where together we create innovative ways to serve our rural communities and foster healing and wellness. We've developed strong partnerships with various agencies, including schools, school divisions, Jordan’s Principle, Child & Family Services, and non-profit organizations. These partnerships allow us to extend our reach and bring our services directly to clients through trusted local organizations.

We're committed to creating innovative solutions that make quality care accessible to all, and we're always looking for new ways to expand our impact, increase access, and improve affordability. If you are a local organization, community leader, or resident and have thoughts on how we can enhance our services or meet a local need, please reach out! We'd love to explore how we can continue to develop creative solutions to address the unique mental health challenges faced by rural communities, and work together to make a lasting positive impact on mental health.
